Year-Round Programs
How to Enroll
We recommend beginning the registration process before your child reaches the age requirement. Families wishing to enroll in our program must first secure a space on our waitlist by completing the following registration process.
Pay the Non-Refundable Registration Fee Online
Use our payment portal to submit a non-refundable waitlist fee of $75 per child. Download a copy of the receipt to attach to the registration form (next step). We date-stamp registration forms when payments are received to maintain the order of application.
Submit the Application Form
Please complete an initial registration form via DocuSign. On the form, please upload a copy of the registration fee receipt. Once you have completed your form, a copy of the completed form will be sent to the management team for review.
Confirm Waitlist Status
We will contact you to confirm your child's placement on the waitlist in accordance with the priority system below. Please email us at cdc@gmu.edu if you are no longer interested in enrolling your child in our program or contact us to acquire a status update on availability. We will have a more accurate anticipated availability as we near your desired start date.The George Mason University Child Development Center observes the following enrollment priority system:
- Children of currently enrolled families
- Mason faculty, staff, and degree-seeking students
- Mason vendors*
- Community families
Mason Vendor: Business affiliated with but not financially supported by the University.
Tuition & Fees
Below is a comprehensive list of tuition rates and fees. Tuition is payable via our payment portal on the first day of each month. Families with two or more children enrolled at the center will receive a 10% discount on older sibling tuition. Payment types include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and e-checks.
Please note: If enrolled as a Mason-affiliated family and your employment/student status expires at Mason, families will be changed to non-Mason status, and a new tuition rate will be applied the first of the month following the separation.

What to Expect After Receiving an Offer
When space is available, families will be contacted and have 10 business days to accept the offered space. Upon accepting an offered space, the family must complete the following list of tasks to be fully considered for enrolling in the program:
Secure the Space with a Registration Fee
A deposit is necessary to secure your child's space. Make a payment via the online portal. Once enrolled in the Center, your child is guaranteed space in our program.Make an One-Month Tuition Deposit
A deposit of one month's tuition. This deposit will be credited toward your child's first month's tuition.
Complete the Enrollment Packet
Complete the enrollment packet with all required documentation and supporting materials. Children may not begin at the Center until the enrollment packet has been completed and approved.
Mason Kids Club
How to Enroll
Families only need to register once yearly for each student to attend the Mason Kids Club. Once registration is completed, families can choose multiple individual sessions throughout the school year. Annual registration is required for the new school year.

Pay for the $100 Family Registration Fee
A one-time, non-refundable, annual registration fee can be paid through the Mason Kids Club enrollment site. This fee can be applied anytime during the school year and will also be applied to the following summer. Families with multiple students attending the Mason Kids Club will only need to pay one $100 registration fee.
Complete a Health Screening for Your Child
Contact your doctor or pediatrician for a comprehensive physical exam for your child and complete the Virginia School Entrance Health Form (PDF).

Kids Club is subject to cancellation if minimum enrollments are not met five business days prior to the start of the session. If a session is canceled, participants will be notified and will receive a full refund.
Withdrawal Policy
A written notice is required to withdraw formally. A refund may be issued and is subject to withdrawal dates. Please refer to our refund policy for details.
Refund Policy
Full Tuition Refund — If a participant withdraws two or more weeks prior to the start of Kids Club individual sessions.
50% Tuition Refund — If a participant withdraws 7-13 days prior to the start of Kids Club individual sessions.
No Refund — For withdrawal notices received 1-6 days prior to the start of Kids Club without doctor’s documentation or Military relocation/deployment documentation.
All refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Refunds made by check may take up to 6 weeks to process.
Mason Kids Club Summer Camps
